Ok, as a transplanted Brooklynite that has lived in the Bay Area for over 20 years now, Wise & Sons is the ONLY authentic Jewish deli San Francisco has imho. Moishe's Pippic (in Hayes Valley which is now gone since it permanently closed) was the other one. Morty's in the TL was pretty good too, I guess it's still around.
I had the pleasure of working with Chantell from Wise Sons Bagels to organize bagel breakfasts for 3 large onsite events. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. Chantell curated a delicious menu that included options for all dietary needs, ensured timely delivery, and assisted with the setup, making the entire process seamless. She was absolutely wonderful to work with and was extremely responsive and helpful! Everyone loved Wise Sons’ bagels! It was a delight to introduce our team to this local favorite. I can’t thank Chantell and the Wise Sons team enough—the bagels and service were truly outstanding.
Absolutely best egg bagels I’ve ever had, the chili oil arugula and fluffy egg combination on an everything bagel is our go to order on the weekends. Must have gotten it a dozen times already!
Best Reuben sandwich in the city, and it better be for the price tag. Cozy lunch spot where there always tends to be at least one table available.
10’s across the board! Friendly service, delicious food, great clean atmosphere. Ordered the Popeye bagels ???? and the potato latkes. Everything was on point. Maybe a bit saltier than normal but edible. Coffee was excellent for drip coffee. Will be definitely coming back here.
Reuben is soooo good here! Both Pastrami and corned beef are great. Ordered chopped liver as an add on but realise I can’t take that taste lol

Cute place in the corner. I came here looking for bagels ???? my friend said it tasted like New York style bagels. I was there late evening so I didn't have the option for bagels. But my first time trying the matzo ball soup and it was well made and delicious ???? my sisters had some sandwiches and it looks delicious well made. Check this place out when in San Francisco
Delicious bagel sandwiches and reubens! The inside is cute and homey. Staff were friendly and food came out quickly.
The pastrami is SO GOOD. -1 star because my friend got a breakfast burrito that should've had pastrami but they gave us a veggie one with mushrooms instead. And these things are not cheap! We couldn't go back because brought a picnic to Dolo. The matzo ball soup was also solid. Nothing amazing but definitely comforting. I'm hoping to try their lox bagels and latkes next time. It's an order first, no table service type of spot. Food took about 15 minutes. Inside is quite cute and comfy.
